I love Michael Knott, he and Gene were my musical heroes. As I made my way back West, I listened to their tapes on repeat, the little tape player pressed against my ear as I drove down the highway.

I recorded this mostly in a stairwell in our old apartment. It is featured on the album Down the Line Basement Tapes: A Tribut to Michael Knott Volume 1

When hobos traveled, they'd leave symbols & signs for others to find, to help, warn, encourage.
